Basic Job Functions

Total compensation up to $100,000.

WORK HOURS: 3:00pm-1:00am

  • Proven record of ensuring that nothing is more important than SAFETY.

  • Serve as a role model; support and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and practices.

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with teammates and customers.

  • Hands on leadership approach in working with teammates.

  • Assist manager in people development activities such as hiring, training, developing and coaching teammates.

  • Support manager in long-range planning and budgeting.

  • Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule.

  • Maintain parts inventory aligning with production schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Safety oriented.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Bachelors degree in business, management, or related field preferred, or a minimum of 3 years supervision experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in operations or manufacturing with heavy equipment.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Skilled and experienced with personal computers, software, spreadsheets and databases (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to plan, manage and prioritize work; adapt to a changing environment; strong organized approach to work.

  • Demonstrated skill in initiating and managing projects, building and leading a project team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in scrap processing.

  • Knowledge of inventory management, shipping and receiving material using lean manufacturing principles.

  • High mechanical aptitude and welding experience.
