Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Customer Service & Logistics Manager, the Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Supply Chain Specialist Team's performance, processes, and operations; managing specific products and the business needs of the customer; possessing a comprehensive understanding of the CNA enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, producing and analyzing reports as needed, and collaborating with various departments such as Sales, Lab Services, Operations, Logistics, and Accounting/Finance. Requirements: 3-6 years of demonstrated experience in a high transactional volume customer focused role with emphasis on order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. 1-2 years' experience in a lead or supervisory role of team members APICS Certification in an industry related discipline, preferred Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data entry or system experience Intermediate computer skills/Microsoft Office Performance Measures and Job Duties: Manage the daily workflow of the supply chain specialist team to ensure successful completion of tasks Supervises the performance of Supply Chain Specialists Level I and II Guide and measure team performance and strive for continual improvement. Schedule bi-weekly one on one meetings with each team member Assess the work performance of team members and make salary recommendations Coach, counsel, and discipline team members Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures Develop team performance through training and hands on interaction. Recruit, interview, select, orient, and train new employees Approve requests for time off Create develop plans for team member growth. Understand customer requirements. Analyze or produce reports for business leaders and others. Provide backup coverage for other team members within the supply chain department Assist Customer Service & Logistics Manager with day-to-day functions and strategic planning Conduct transportation risk assessment, as it relates to potential EHS&S impacts. Develop and implement appropriate requirements for supplier risk information to be provided throughout the supply chain, including SDSs or other information Track and review customer complaints/concerns, especially related to EHS&S Lead continuous improvement initiatives in line with business/dept. needs. Lead "Quick Kaizen" events for problem solving in line with business/dept. needs.
