Essential Duties & Tasks

  • Adhere to all safety, health and housekeeping protocols

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage and distribution of materials (inbound, outbound, WIP)

  • Support the organizations supply chain strategy through maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and timely distribution of goods

  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with internal and external regulations for material handling, storage and distribution.

  • Track and report inventory

  • Develop, communicate and track department metrics that align with Organization

  • Responsible to develop, train, and make all personnel decisions within scope

  • Adhere to budget and strategic plan

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing management, Procurement, Sales, Finance and other departments as needed.

  • Ensure all warehouse or material moving equipment is maintained

  • All other duties as assigned

Work Environment

Work primarily in an office and a warehouse or manufacturing facility. May be exposed to safety/health hazards. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision and other Personal protective equipment as required. This role operates in a both a professional office environment and manufacturing which includes possible exposure to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 plus years of experience.

  • Effective leadership and management skills.

  • Ability to collaborate, motivate, foster teamwork.

  • Ability to handle complex issues.

  • Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
