The Community Development Grp Mgr is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Examination management, including serving as a point of contact for Citi with regulatory agencies on fair lending matters.

  • Project design and project management, coordinating on behalf of the Fair Lending team with internal stakeholders, including business officers, legal, compliance, and risk.

  • Management of the annual renewal of Citi's U.S. Fair Lending Policy and Standards

  • Facilitation of the annual Fair Lending Risk Assessment process for Citi's U.S. consumer businesses to assess their fair lending risks and controls, and develop forward-looking fair lending plans.

  • Ensuring a consistent level of preparation, presentation and follow-through on all internal reviews.

  • Organization of forums for communicating fair lending issues and best practices, including monthly Corporate Fair Lending Committee meetings and Citi's annual multi-day fair lending training.

  • Development and submission of an annual Corporate Fair Lending budget and strategic plan.

  • Performance of supplementary fair lending tasks as assigned by the Corporate Fair Lending Director.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and project management skills and ability to work on teams and with others

  • 10+ Years of comparable experience

  • Regulatory or banking industry experience in fair lending is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

El rol de Director de Operaciones, Finanzas y Administración (COO) para la Dirección Corporativa de Asuntos Institucionales, Estudios Económicos y Comunicación Organizacional de Citibanamex, dirige, planifica y ejecuta las diferentes acciones estratégicas enfocadas en la administración y modelos operativo y financiero de la Dirección Corporativa y las Fundaciones de Citibanamex (Fomentos), para dar servicio a los proyectos determinados por las Direcciones y Departamentos, así como por las Juntas Directivas y de Asociados de las Fundaciones (Fomentos Cultural, Ecológico y Social); con el objetivo de fortalecer y aplicar los controles internos y regulatorios que son necesarios para su funcionamiento adecuado, en asuntos tales como subvenciones, gestión de proveedores, Finanzas, impuestos, contabilidad, inventario de activos fijos y gestión de proyectos, tecnología, planificación estratégica y la presentación de informes, con alineación total con Citi y Citibanamex directrices y políticas, así como con los requisitos reglamentarios y las directivas de las asociaciones civiles en México.

Funciones Principales

  • Dirigir las funciones operativas, administrativas y financieras de la Dirección Corporativa de Estudios Económicos, Asuntos Institucionales y Comunicación Organizacional, incluyendo las Fundaciones de Citibanamex (Fomentos), para el establecimiento de una estrecha relación con las Funciones Globales, de gestión y de control del Banco

  • Gestionar y ejecutar el presupuesto de la Dirección Corporativa, incluyendo el presupuesto para cada Fomento de Citibanamex (fundaciones), de acuerdo con las diferentes estrategias para los proyectos, donaciones y líneas de acción de las diferentes áreas en México

  • Liderar, planificar y gestionar las acciones estratégicas de los fideicomisos e inversiones de cada Fundación de Citibanamex (Fomentos), de acuerdo con la aprobación de los Consejos y directores de cada Fomento, informando los resultados e impactos económico y operativo, a través de la coordinación con las propias áreas del Banco (Finanzas, Impuestos, Oficina de Control & Gobierno, Fiduciario y Compliance, entre otras), de manera periódica y/o solicitada

  • Ser el representante legal de las Fomentos Citibanamex (Fundaciones) en asuntos administrativos, laborales y legales para el funcionamiento de los mismos, considerando los requisitos normativos internos y externos, así como ser partícipe de la Asamblea de Asociados y la Junta Directiva, además de ser miembro de reuniones y comités de las Fundaciones

  • Dirigir y gestionar las estrategias tecnológicas y la reingeniería de procesos en la Dirección Corporativa, incluyendo las Fundaciones (Fomentos), para enfocar los esfuerzos necesarios en la eficiencia y efectividad de las iniciativas implementadas (tanto locales como globales requeridas)

Requisitos:

  • Licenciatura concluida

  • Maestría deseable

  • Experiencia de mínimo 10 años en el área
