Citigroup Sourcing Analyst / Compras in Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico

The Supply Chain (SC) Sourcing Analyst 1 is an entry level position responsible for assisting in procurement activities such as placing orders, receiving delivery and identifying comparable supplies and suppliers in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist on global data and information analytics strategy, and plan for procurement services

  • Assist in the execution of financial, business information and analytics strategy, as well as tracking of savings for targeted programs

  • Assist in supplier spend analytics, operational metrics, performance metrics, cost financial analytics, save tracking and reporting, benchmarking, category market intelligence, cost modeling, diversity reporting, metrics and reporting, budget forecasting, and commodity segmentation efforts

  • Provide commodity sourcing analysis and assistance, provide analytical and organizational support to saves, spend, and opportunity analytics

  • Assist in generating metrics on spend by region, business, and category, and identify and maintain spend baselines

  • Assist in the preparations and analysis of bid packages, auction events, and formal request process replies, as well as develop reports and graphs/charts to illustrate saves or spending

  • Work with internal business units to consolidate information, perform ad hoc spend requests, generate program compliance monitoring reports, commodity reports, and formal request process analysis

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of the procurement process

  • Working knowledge of industry practices and standards

  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Requisitos:

Inglés Intermedio-Avanzado.

Excel Intermedio.

Deseable experiencia en el área de compras.
