Our client has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Drafter with SolidWorks experience. This is a GREAT opportunity to join a very established company and grow your career. Targeting associate’s degree candidates with 0-3 years of experience within product development. This is a direct hire role!
Job Title: Mechanical Drafter
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay Rate: 25-29hr
Key Responsibilities
Generate 3D models of pump components (impellers, volutes, etc.) for pump design, assembly drawings, and part procurement.
Develop official assembly and component drawings, as well as related instructions, based on the created 3D models.
Draft detailed drawings to facilitate parts fabrication by machine shops or external suppliers.
Create 3D assemblies and drawings to ensure interference-free assembly.
Manage processes such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), dimensional prints, and exploded view drawings.
Requirements
AAS Mechanical Drafting and Design or related
0-3 years of drafting experience within product development
Proficient in SolidWorks 3D modeling
