Jostens is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Operations to lead and optimize manufacturing operations. This role offers an opportunity to own operational strategy, implement process improvements, develop and mentor high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Lead Plant Operations. Drive operational excellence by leading teams, optimizing production processes, and ensuring a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Drive Business & Financial Performance. Optimize costs, enhance productivity, and improve operational effectiveness through automation, and strategic cost management in labor, overhead, and inventory.
Optimize Processes for Growth. Identify and implement lean strategies, process efficiency, and automation enhancements to scale operations.
Develop High-Performing Teams. Mentor and grow a leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and growth.
Execute Operational Strategy. Align long-term operational plans with business goals, driving continuous improvement and operational enhancements.
Accelerate Your Leadership Growth. Take on increasing responsibility in strategic decision-making, financial planning, and cross-functional collaboration, positioning yourself for future senior leadership opportunities
YOU HAVE:
Strategic Operations Leadership. 7-12 years of experience in operations leadership.
Education. BA or BS in management, manufacturing technology, engineering, or equivalent experience. MBA, advanced leadership training, Lean Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt) preferred.
Team Leadership & Development. Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, development, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence. Proven ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and optimize operations for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction in high-volume manufacturing environments.
Data-Driven Decision Making. Strong analytical mindset, KPI-driven decision-making, and ability to translate strategy into execution.
Business Acumen. Experience managing full plant operations with financial planning and control experience including P&L ownership.
