Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment. You will be expected to exercise sound mechanical judgment, improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems, and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled. Additionally, you will assist with equipment installation, testing, and start-up, plan and implement corrective actions, and maintain the cleanliness and order of the building, equipment, and grounds.
Responsibilities
Maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment
Exercise sound mechanical judgment
Improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems
Perform preventative maintenance as outlined on schedule
Assist with equipment installation, testing, and start-up
Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction
Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner
Purchase maintenance supplies and equipment parts as needed or directed
Provide support to production associates regarding use and care of machinery
Comply with all safety standards and regulations
Essential Skills
Experience in maintenance technician roles
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance
Ability to read and interpret schematics
PLC troubleshooting skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Two years of technical training strongly preferred
3-5 years of maintenance experience required
Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
Experience in manufacturing processes and machinery
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot multiple systems including electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, fluid power, mechanical, and plumbing
Ability to read and interpret drawings and follow routers
Safety-oriented with basic knowledge of OSHA and other applicable regulatory agencies
Self-starter, able to work with little or no supervision

Work Environment
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. The role involves lifting materials and products up to 50 pounds and requires standing, walking, lifting, and bending to access machinery repairs. Flexibility for overtime and assisting on other shifts, if necessary, is also required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
