NPC Engineering Technician in Claysburg, Pennsylvania

As an Engineering Technician at NPC, you will play three primary roles: support, diagnostics, and maintenance. This will include maintaining equipment, ordering parts, and performing preventative and repair maintenance as needed. In addition, you will maintain logs and write reports of activity results and equipment maintenance.

You will be expected to apply engineering technology training to solve problems, collaborate with other engineers to work in an effective manner to meet the organization's needs, design blueprints and initial plans for engineering projects within the organization, as well as recommend improvements in the manufacturing process that result in better and more efficient production standards.

 

SCHEDULE

You will work primarily Monday through Friday, standard daylight hours. However, flexibility and adaptability are a must to meet the needs surrounding the dynamic environment at NPC.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ year of experience in related field.
  • Strong mathematical skills, oral, and written communication skills, reading comprehension, and a thorough knowledge of engineering.
  • Ability to think critically in order to troubleshoot problems.
