Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Sr

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Sr here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced manufacturing processes and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the successful execution of manufacturing projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our manufacturing operations and contribute to the success of our business.

You will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Director and you'll work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations by implementing advanced manufacturing processes and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in manufacturing engineering will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes and technologies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure the successful execution of program to support ISC compliance and flawless launch of new product introduction

  • Identify areas for improvement of legacy products and implement or enhance solutions within new product development

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or manufacturing engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering or roles related to new product introduction

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering

  • Experience in the aerospace industry

  • Six Sigma certification

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

  • Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes and technologies

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong project management skills
