Job Description Summary

In this role, you will perform a variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly operations on hardware components such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables, including complex rework, soldering, wiring, and testing. You will follow established procedures, work instructions, and schematics, and have the responsibility and authority to carry out all assigned tasks. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and comprehend technical instructions, soldering experience with J-Std certification within 30 days, the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and the flexibility to work overtime and handle hazardous materials.

Working at our Clearwater Location: Clearwater is a provider of engineering, circuit card assembly, OEM Avionics, and MRO services to commercial and military customers, with products and technologies that are diverse and highly sophisticated. We are looking for a talented individual to perform a variety of production assembly operations, ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive tasks, involving hardware such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. This role includes complex rework, soldering, wiring, and testing capabilities, allowing you to showcase your technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diverse Assembly Operations: Engage in electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly tasks, working with various hardware components like modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Your role will involve both repetitive and non-repetitive operations, ensuring a dynamic and varied work experience.

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your skills in complex rework, soldering, wiring, and testing to ensure high-quality assembly and functionality of hardware components.

  • Procedure Adherence: Perform assembly operations using established procedures, work instructions, schematics, and other approved documentation, ensuring precision and consistency in your work.

  • Flexibility and Responsibility : Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating your adaptability and commitment to the team's success. You will have the authority to carry out all assigned tasks, empowering you to make a significant impact.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Educational and Technical Skills: High school diploma or equivalent education, with the ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions.

  • Soldering and Certification: Soldering experience and the ability to become J-Std certified within the first 30 days of employment.

  • Physical and Work Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds, work with hazardous materials, and work overtime as required.

Desired Skills / Experience:

  • Technical Proficiency and Experience: Proficient in using a personal computer to navigate online documents, drawings, and instructions, with a minimum of 6 years of industry or similarly related job experience.

  • Team Collaboration: Prior experience working in a team-oriented environment.
