The Department of Radiology at The MetroHealth System a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is offering an exciting and unique opportunities for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our team performing GI/GU Fluoroscopy procedures.
Summary:
This NP or PA will deliver direct patient care consistent with the nurse practitioner or physician assistant’s education, experience, and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management and/or referral of health care issues. Promotes consumer, family, and community health through preventative health care actions and through patient advocacy. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
The successful candidate perform fluoroscopy guided procedures, including, but not limited to barium enema, barium follow through, barium swallow, fluoroscopy guided injections of joints and fistula, and speech/ swallow studies under the supervision of a Radiologist. Successful completion of the organization’s APP Transition to Practice program will be required in the first year of employment at MetroHealth.

Required:
Nurse Practitioner required credentials:
· Graduate of an accredited DNP or MSN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program
· Current RN and APRN license in the state of Ohio
· Board Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in a family nurse practitioner or dual certified adult/pediatric nurse practitioner specialty.
· Current BLS
· Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice
· Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth
· Maintains a standard care arrangement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing
Physician Assistant required credentials:
· Graduate of an accredited Doctoral or MS Physician Assistant program.
· Current PA licensure in the State of Ohio.
· Board Certification as a Physician Assistant from NCCP
· Current BLS
· Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice
· Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth
· Maintains a supervision agreement with physician and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Medicine
