Job Description:
A Business Analyst 2 is expected to write clear and concise user stories, requirements, and work items for the development team.A successfulBusiness Analyst should demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to understand and break down complex problems. The Business Analyst is learning to work with all levels and types of users such as stakeholders, business users, development team members, and peers. In their personal growth, a Business Analyst should strive to learn new things each day. They should be actively continuingtheir Business Analyst or Agile education to work toward some first-level certifications.
Responsibilities:
Documents user stories and supporting documents for the team
Facilitates the gathering of requirements with discussions with stakeholders and the development team
Learns how to use the supported software product(s)
Learns about the supported department's business and workflows
Uses tools to create wireframes and workflows that support different options and recommendations
Learns about roles and responsibilities on the team and how the BA fits into that team
Observes how team leaders are implementing software development and/or Agile on their team and growing their implementation skills
Learns basic backlog organization skills

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems or engineering fields, or equivalent experience
