Part-Time - 24 Hours weekly
Position Summary
Provides safe efficient age specific child life care to patients/families using child life interventions in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status
Essential Functions
Patient documentation;
Patient/family care assessment/intervention
Collaboration/education with healthcare team/volunteers/students
Initiates and maintains community partnerships
Actively participates in the quality improvement process;
Development/education/research

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
