Ohio Means Jobs Cuyahoga County is sourcing entry-level cybersecurity analysts for a local cybersecurity company.

Position Responsibilities:

· Monitor Security Systems: Track and monitor security logs, systems, and alerts to identify potential security breaches.

· Threat Detection: Assist in the identification and analysis of potential cyber threats.

· Incident Response: Support the team in investigating security incidents and taking corrective actions.

· Data Protection: Learn and apply best practices in data security and privacy.

· Access Controls: Help maintain user access and permissions across company systems.

· Security Awareness: Assist in educating employees on cybersecurity threats and best practices.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents and the steps taken to mitigate them.

· Compliance: Support compliance with security regulations and frameworks.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required · Degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field ia plus (not required) · Strong interest in cybersecurity · Willingness to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends. Skills:

o Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network fundamentals is a plus but not required.

o Attention to detail and the ability to think critically in fast-paced situations.

o Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
