Job Function - Responsible for running the day-to-day activities of a DOT-regulated shuttle operation including, but not limited to, the supervision of employees, maintaining client relations, and ensuring that company standards are being upheld. Other duties include general accounting, general HR functions (hiring, terminating, and training) and claims review. Responsibilities Oversee customer relations to ensure that complaints, disagreements or misunderstandings about the shuttle bus operation or service are resolved diplomatically. Oversee daily shuttle bus operation. Supervise the quality of work for all employees to ensure that all work tasks and assignments are performed efficiently, effectively, and as required. Ensure that proper shuttle operations, security, cash control and customer service procedures are being followed by all employees. Handle all personnel issues and paperwork for hiring, termination and training of support staff. Supervise shuttle operations in order to ensure that incoming customers are served efficiently and properly. Monitor maintenance of the operation to ensure that it is clean and maintained according to company policies and procedures. Handle general accounting duties such as accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting. Monitor and review all damage claims in order to assign responsibility for damages. Recommend and implement plans or programs to improve safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims. Qualifications Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. 5+ years of progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment preferred. Qualified candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. License Requirement: Per DOT Regulations, you will be required to have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License depending on the location's hiring needs, with Passenger Endorsement if you will be responsible for operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 passengers or more.
