Financial Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. This role involves assisting with internal audits, performing financial analysis, and providing general accounting support for our Cleveland Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring spending levels, supporting the monthly closing process, and reporting the P&L Statement to key personnel. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong experience in financial analysis and accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in performing internal audits for Cleveland Operations’ Financial and Business processes.

  • Performing financial analysis for departmental and Business Unit activities within Cleveland Operations.

  • Monitoring spending levels and providing appropriate feedback to the Operations Department.

  • Providing general accounting support for Cleveland Operations by ensuring that appropriate internal controls are in place, Corporate Policies are followed, account reconciliations are completed, and aged items are monitored until resolution.

  • Providing support during the monthly closing process.

  • Assisting in the performance of metal and fixed asset physical inventory as required by our offices.

  • Reporting the P&L Statement to the Cleveland Operations Lead Team and select Business Unit personnel, as directed.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Financial analysis

  • Finance

  • Accounting

  • Financial reporting

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field (business)

  • 1 year of experience in Financial Analysis

  • 3 years of experience in Accounting, Forecasting, Reporting, Budgeting, Reconciliation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of financial analysis & accounting experience

  • 3 or more years’ experience with manufacturing & inventory

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) and delegate while maintaining forward motion on key deliverables

  • Proficiency in using Excel to manipulate large data sets

Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment, working closely with the controller and a small team. The role involves regular interaction with various departments and requires strong collaboration skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
