Nesco Resource has a long-standing client seeking to hire a manual machinist experienced with Bridgeport machines and surface grinders. Job title: Manual Machinist Location: Warrensville Heights Shift: 1 ^st^ (6 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, OT on Friday as needed) Salary: $19 to $22 an hour or higher based on experience Contract to hire position RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up & Operate standard tool room equipment including manual Bridgeport mills, Manual Engine Lathes, Drill Presses, Band Saws and Surface Grinders.
• Uses precision measuring devices to inspect parts.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 years' experience working with manual mills and/or lathes.
• Additional job training will be provided.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team; must be able to communicate effectively.
• Able to read blueprints and precision measuring devices.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Will be subject to pre-screening requirements.
