Ohio Means Jobs-Cleveland Cuyahoga County is sourcing for a Payroll/Office administer for a rapidly growing skincare facility. We are currently looking for a talented candidate for the role of Payroll/Office Administrator. The Payroll/Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of our company's payroll, maintaining employee records, and upholding compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as being the backbone of daily office operations and providing essential support to ensure seamless running of our Corporate Office area. Your expertise in payroll administration, organizational skills and proactive approach will be key to maintaining an efficient and professional office environment and to our continued success. Those candidates that are proficient in ADP WFN or ADP Comprehensive Services will take precedence over others.

 

This is a hourly nonexempt position. This position requires legal authorization to work in the US.

II. Essential Functions

  1. Provide general support to Corporate Office visitors

  2. Address associate queries regarding office management issues

  3. Maintain a Corporate Office calendar and arrange the Corporate Office scheduling of the conference rooms and training center.

  4. Maintain the mail center with both incoming and outgoing deliveries and mail

  5. Process payroll transactions in a timely and accurate manner

  6. Maintain and update payroll records

  7. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports

  8. Resolve issues related to payroll production or processing

  9. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions

  10. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local payroll wage and hours laws and best practices

  11. Handle and resolve associate inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns

  12. Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance/Accounting teams

  13. Maintain confidential information and exercise extreme discretion

  14. Assist with year-end tasks such as W-2forms and other tax documents

e. Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and MS Office (especially Excel)

f. Excellent organizational and time management skills

g. Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a complex workload

h. Capacity to meet tight deadlines

i. Experience with benefits and other wage deductions

j. Ability to prepare reports and conduct payroll analyses

 

Preferred

a. bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business or another related field

b. Proven experience as a payroll administrator or payroll clerk

c. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
