Qualifications

Position Summary

Performs general clerical, secretarial, and unit clerk duties in accordance with established procedures of Clive Behavioral Health. Required to display a professional attitude in all aspects of his/her performance.

Mental Health Technician Unit Coordinator Requirements:

  • Maintains supply and accuracy of all forms and patient packets.

  • Effectively communicates with patients, family members, co-workers and any contacts in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Answers phone within 3 rings and directs calls and messages appropriately.

  • Accurately analyzes, interprets and transcribes physician orders.

  • Files information accurately within the medical record/hospital filing system.

  • Ensures Releases of Information are faxed in a timely basis while maintaining HIPAA and Clive protocol.

  • Completes the Census form daily for accuracy.

  • Ensures employees in department have a mailbox and removes termed employee mailboxes.

  • Assists Supervisor with clerical support to assure needs of unit are satisfied.

  • Performs various other duties as assigned or requested.
