The IT Enterprise Systems team manages the development, use, and support of Enterprise Applications. Smartsheet is looking for an experienced Systems Project Manager to drive quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction as a key member of our IT PMO Team. The Sr Systems Project Manager works closely with the Enterprise Systems team and partners across the business to lead critical, highly complex, cross-functional and large-scale projects through all phases including intake, development, testing, and delivery.

You will report to our Director, Project & Program Management based at Smartsheet headquarters in Bellevue, WA. This position is eligible to work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.
You Will:
Lead concurrent IT-centric projects with multiple levels of complexity using different delivery methods, including but not limited to agile and waterfall, while representing the voice of the internal customer
Manage IT projects across the business including financial, human resources, legal, and procurement systems using Smartsheet tools
Develop and manage highly complex project plans, dependencies, secure resources, and synthesize risky observations to create recommendations to leadership
Develop and communicate objectives, goals and expectations with success measures to all stakeholders across multiple teams
Monitor and track progress toward goals to ensure that all requirements are met
Communicate trade-offs between customer expectations, team capacity, and technical feasibility to business owner partners and align on prioritization
Establish and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, motivating project teams by building morale to support project deliverables and demonstrate personal brand awareness
Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team
Mentor other project managers and other project team members

You Have:
6+ years of focused project management experience
6+ years experience working in IT or related disciplines
Experience with enterprise SaaS application integrations
Strong understanding of risks, and internal controls to mitigate risks
Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and IT general controls
Strong understanding of SDLC
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical end-user personnel in large enterprises
Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style
Resilience, with the ability to adapt under changing business priorities
Innovative mindset and a comfort with change and uncertainty
Strong understanding of the Agile process
