Job Summary
Convention Center Cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. The right candidate is a fantastic multi-tasker. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.
Essential Functions
Must work in a neat and organized manner with a “clean as you go” attitude on a continual basis.
Must read and adhere to Event Orders assigned to you by on duty Chef.
Must write Prep list complete with timelines for each function, taking into consideration times for set up on Boats, Banquets, and Buffets.
Must discuss all functions with Chef on duty to understand fully all items to be prepared and all equipment needed. Use the prep list to find all food prep for your function, and to verify that all prep exists and is completed properly.

Full Time Employees are offered these benefits first of the month following 60 days of employment
Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.
Variable hour team members could be eligible12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.
401K Plan:
Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
2% match with a 4% contribution from the team member.
PTO:
6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)
1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
