ThePhysical Therapist (PT)is a professional practitioner who
develops treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques
creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for
patients. Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments
relieves pain and improves mobility for patients recovering from
accidents, trauma and surgical procedures.\

JOB DUTIES
- Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition
- Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results
- Develop treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques as
part of personalized fitness-oriented health care programs
- Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to
relieve pain and improve mobility
- Advise patients on exercise techniques and in-home treatment options
- Provide educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics
and ways to promote physical health
- Oversee the support staff to ensure quality of care and maximum
productivity
- Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Document patient care history timely and accurately
- Comply with all rules, regulations and procedures
ThePhysical Therapist (PT)assumes other responsibilities as

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to
make decisions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent
interpersonal skills
- Accurate clinical assessment skills regarding patient medical
conditions
- Ability and willingness to accurately and appropriately document
patient care notes in a timely manner in accordance with billing and
regulatory requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families,
physicians and hospital staff
- Computer skills including MSOffice, Outlook, Meditech, preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, sit; reach with arms, hands and
fingers to handle and feel; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch
or crawl; taste and smell as demonstrated by the Occupational
Performance Capacity (OPC) test and/or pre-employment physical
