Responsibilities
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Advanced
Scheduler to join our team. The successful applicant will provide full-time
dedicated support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director, Space
Systems (MDA/SS), located at Schriever SFB, CO (Missile Defense
Integration Operations Center (MDIOC)).
You will be supporting several innovative, highly technical, and
fast-paced space sensor developmental programs including the Hypersonic and
Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS) and Spacebased Kill Assessment
(SKA) programs. These critical programs will procure, test, and
deliver national space assets to the warfighting Combatant Commands.
Responsibilities:
Position Overview
The successful candidate will serve as an Advanced Scheduler supporting the
Missile Defense Agency Space Systems (MDA/SS) Directorate in Colorado
Springs, CO. The candidate will support Directorate-wide program scheduling
and integration efforts. Duties and Responsibilities include:
Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the
development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans,
processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding;
Experience with developing Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals,
Request for
Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
Build and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all SS programs
Maintain program schedules in MDA's Project Server
Perform schedule health and status updates
Conduct schedule merges and analyses of Prime IMS's
Develop and track primary, secondary, and tertiary critical paths for IMSs
Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
Build and maintain schedule charts for program reviews and execution
Build leadership briefs and maintain schedule baselines for various
acquisition events
Participate in the Missile Defense System Integration Schedule Working Group
(MISWG)
Track and report on schedule metrics for the PMs
Maintain desktop schedules
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Demonstrated experience supporting and interacting on a daily basis with high
level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting
on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products
successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)
Demonstrated capability to develop reports, information papers, decision
papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder
leadership
Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in scheduling and project integration tasks
Critical path analysis and action item resolution
Basic understanding of EVMS processes
Advanced understanding of defense programs and weapon system components
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Advanced knowledge of MS Project, MS PowerPoint, Milestone Pro, and MS Excel
Current Secret Security Clearance Required and eligible for TS/SCI
Education: BA/BS in Business Administration or related field desired

Pay Range:
