Volt is immediately hiring for 2nd shift Machine Operators in Colorado
Springs, CO.
As a Machine Operator you will:
Set up and operate automated systems to produce spring products that meet
engineering drawing requirements and quality standards.
Perform first article inspection and in-process quality checks.
Perform routine operational preventative maintenance requirements.
Monitor production schedules to ensure production commitments are met.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Assist with process improvement of automated systems and working conditions to
increase productivity and efficiency.
Log in data entry information for all work orders into the ERP system.
Ensure cleanliness of machines and surrounding areas.
Do Other duties as required
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Coursework in electronics, robotics, or electro-mechanical systems desired
Associate's Degree in related degree preferred, but not required.
3+ years of relevant machine operating experience required
3+ years of experience in a high volume production environment required
Solid work history
Strong mechanical aptitude
Familiar with a variety of gaging instruments and methods
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
2nd shift--3:00 PM until 1:00 AM Monday through Friday.
Additional overtime may be required and training is on 1st shift.
Pay Rate: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several
factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work
location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
