Davidson is seeking a Software Solutions Business Development/Capture
Manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

for! This position will be responsible for leading the acquisition process
effort for pre-identified software solution opportunities.
The Davidson Software Solutions P&L is focused upon building and expanding
into new and adjacent markets leveraging foundational core capabilities
associated with: advanced modeling and simulation, Agile DevSecOps
software engineering, multi domain operation system of systems integration
optimizations, quantum computing and applications of artificial intelligence
and machine learning.
This position reports to the Sr. VP Software Solutions P&L Leader.
Responsibilities
Identify executable opportunities that drive new growth from early
Identification through contract Award.
Development of capture strategies in collaboration with P&L operations,
business development staff (BD and Proposal Managers) and corporate
functional teams to deliver winning results.
Translate capture strategies into actionable plans regarding customer
engagement and other industry teaming.
Responsible for industry partner identification and relationship building for
execution of solicitation response opportunities.
Perform detailed analysis of RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to assess requirements
and develop narratives and competitive pricing strategies that demonstrate
Davidson's value proposition.
Understand the competitive landscape; devise plans to position Davidson for
success.
Provide leadership and oversight to the development and preparation of
proposals, qualification statements, expressions of interest,
presentations, and other business acquisition materials.
Stay informed of market and industry trends and how they intersect
Davidson's offerings.
Prepares and presents recommendations (e.g., Bid/No Bid presentation)
to senior management.
In partnership with the Software P&L leader, represent Davidson at key,
strategic community and social events.
Perform other capture-related responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
BS degree in Engineering or Business (equivalent)
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the proposal and business capture
environment
A proven track record of successful captures and winning proposal submissions
Demonstrated history of positively fostering team collaboration
Strong history of Department of Defense client relationships and ability to
interface at multiple levels within client organizations
Strong facilitation, leadership, and communication skills to lead capture
efforts through the entire pursuit lifecycle
Ability to adeptly manage multitasking, supporting multiple capture efforts
at once
Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to
write executive summaries, cover letters, and other technical and
non-technical proposal sections
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Experienced using Deltek GovWin IQ to conduct market research and forecasted
business growth opportunities
US Citizenship required
Clearance Requirements:
Must have an Active Secret Clearance
