Actalent Cyber Tools Specialist in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description:

Position Responsibilities: This position is responsible for developing and implementing Cyber TPs in the NT labs, the C2BMC Testbed (CTB), and Ops. Tasks include installing, deploying, and testing Cyber Products (e.g., CyberArk, HBSS, ACAS, ArcSight, MFA, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc.). Providing redlines to COS engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership will be required as part of position responsibilities. Documenting lessons learned, the best security engineering practices and industry standards will also be required in daily tasks. The Cyber Tools Specialist will support the Cyber Tools team as part of the Platform and Infrastructure (P&I) ART. Background Experience Required: The position requires a strong knowledge of Cyber technology and DoD information assurance system certification. It requires hands-on experience utilizing patch management, scanning, auditing, security event monitoring, host-based security, and multi-factor tools in an integrated lab environment. Excellent technical document preparation skills and verbal communication are required for presenting technical Cyber issues and reports to Agile Release Train (ART) leadership. Position Responsibilities: This position fulfills a Cyber Engineering technical role in support of the Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. The selected candidate will develop and test patches to fix Software, Hardware and Firmware vulnerabilities. Candidate will concentrate on vulnerability management including analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), Vendor Patches and STIG configurations. Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to: - Installation and configuration of Linux and Windows from the OS up to the application level. - Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps for the labs - Develop test plans/procedures for software integration and unit test. - Work with software developers and/or vendors as needed to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems found during system integration. - Submit problem reports for errors found per Agile processes and coordinate daily integration activities with other Cross Functional Product Teams (CFPTs). This position is also responsible for the development and implementation of Cyber TPs in the NT labs. Tasks include but aren't limited to: -Installing and unit testing Cyber Products (e.g., ESS, ACAS, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc.). -Providing redlines to engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership will be required as part of this position responsibilities. -Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards will be required in daily tasks as well. Required Clearance: Secret Schedule: Full Time Shift: 1st Work Site: Colorado Springs or Huntsville

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skill Required: The position requires the following Cyber Engineering skills: technical troubleshooting of software applications and integrating COTS products, data analytics of system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and risk mitigation resulting in system accreditation. Must have a working knowledge of implementing DISA STIGs and GPOs. Experience with Agile Lifecycle utilizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a plus.
