Join our team as a Infection Preventionist and Safety Program Manager! As a Infection Preventionist and Safety Program Manager you will:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary entity specific quality program, including Clinical Quality, Patient Safety, Infection Control, Performance Improvement, Patient Experience and Regulatory Compliance in alignment with enterprise and operating group priorities and guidance.

  • Support the reduction of patient care errors, the reduction of healthcare acquired infections, and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes.

  • Facilitate the development, analysis, categorization, and reporting of entity specific adverse events data to help guide improvement efforts.

  • Act responsible for integrating the infection prevention and control program into all applicable organization components/functions by way of consultation, participation at meetings, and the establishment of effective communication and reporting systems with hospital leaders and associates.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Certified Professional in Health Care Quality OR Certified Professional in Patient Safety - required at time of hire or within 6 months, required

  • Bachelor Degree, required

  • Five (5) years of experience in a clinical or quality healthcare environment. Previous experience with safety/risk/quality management and education.

  • Three (3) years of infection prevention and control, preferred. Two (2) years of previous leadership or project management experience, preferred.

  • Ability to create and present quality data using tools such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Joint Commission hospital standards and CMS regulations and occurrence reporting requirements.

  • Experience in clinical operations and/or experience working in performance improvement or quality management areas, preferred.

$40.06 - $62.28 / hour
