Responsibilities
MTSI is seeking an experienced quality practitioner to join our growing
organization as a member of our Strategic Space Business Unit. You will be
responsible for implementing, maintaining, and proactively improving the
Quality Control Program on a key contract. To be considered for this
outstanding opportunity you should possess proficient knowledge of the ISO
9001:2015 and / or AS 9100 Standards, SCRUM and Agile methodologies,
auditing principles.
Develop a quality control program to address all activities performed on the
contract, including those performed by subcontractors and suppliers
Define and document standard operating procedures and work instructions needed
to carry of the work and inspect outputs
Develop and implement a performance management system with processes to assess
and report performance to the Government and internal stakeholders
Analyze performance metrics to determine trends and provide summary for
Management Reviews
Conduct reviews of subcontractor / supplier processes and work products
Conduct / lead internal audits focused on process performance and project
management and monitor implementation of audit findings; prepare internal
audit checklist, schedule internal audits and complete internal audit reports
Initiate and manage nonconformances and corrective action reporting;
organize root cause analysis using tools such as Fishbone, 5Whys,
Scatter, Pareto
Support regulatory inspections and reviews as required
Facilitate and support process improvement initiatives and Sprint cycle
retrospectives
Qualifications
Required:
10+ years of experience working in the Quality Management discipline leading
audits, preferably with the ISO 9001:2015 and / or AS 9100 Standards;
ISO 9001:2015 or AS 9100 Lead Auditor Certification preferred
Understanding of DevSecOps toolchain and Agile Development Processes preferred
Knowledge of software code development and operational testing standards to
produce quality results
Experience working on syste development and deployment teams using Agile
practices with Help Desk and Sustainment operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and work in dynamic environment with minimal supervision
Team player who works well with others; previous experience in successfully
leading assigned activities within cross-functional teams
A commitment to providing excellent customer service
Experience using Visio and Smartsheet is beneficial
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or technical field
Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret clearance to start (Required)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $120,000/year to
$150,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on
established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills,
and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of
medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position
offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay
