WBS 06: SENIOR OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST
POSITION: Operations Research Analyst
Location: Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

JOB SUMMARY: Provide technical assistance for Satellite Communications
(SATCOM) Protected, Wideband, Narrowband and Commercial systems
including Milstar, Advanced EHF, Evolved Strategic SATCOM, Enhanced
Polar System and Replacement, Defense Satellite Communication System,
Wideband Global SATCOM, Multiband User Objective System, Protected
Anti-Jam Tactical SATCOM, Protected Tactical Enterprise System, Protected
Tactical Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service, Mobile Satellite Services,
Family of Advanced Beyond-Line-of Sight Terminal, Air Force Wideband
Enterprise Terminal, Teleports, Gateways and NATO SATCOM.

PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
We have a full-time Operations Research Analyst position to analyze resource
adjustments to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution
(PPBE), including Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Financial
Execution Plans, and other budget drills.
OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Recommend execution year funding efforts, including Unfunded
Requirements, Budget Execution Review, and end of year funding.
- Provide operations, sustainment, and engineering guidance for current
and future programs.
- Support conferences, design reviews, and program management reviews.
- Evaluate acquisition and fielding of operational warfighter capability.
- Execute Configuration Control.
- Support the Functional Area Manager with developing and maintaining Unit
Type Codes, readiness reporting, force posturing, analysis, and
execution activities.
- Assess network configurations for operational impacts.
- Support constellation deployment plans, apportionment
planning/execution, and communications planning.
- Develop the annual SATCOM Reliability Engineering Analysis.
- Discuss operational excursions with external organizations.
- Recommend cyber protection strategies.
- Support the Responsible Test Organization during all Operational Test and
Evaluation planning and execution to include facilitating development of
operational test scenarios, factory testing, terminal certification
testing, joint interoperability testing, fielding, and coalition events.
- Interface with other DCGs, Directorates and Mission Area Teams
(MAT). Support research and assemble background information, coordinate
projects, and summarize material for the MAT's use. Analyze requirements
to ensure critical information is available when required.
- Coordinate with stakeholders. Provide products IAW templates, on /
before deadlines. Research and analyze current events/status/development
efforts. Tailor products to the intended audience. Schedule meetings, build
briefings, present materials, attend meetings, compile minutes / action items.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 10+ years experience related to the primary responsibilities
- An active TS//SCI clearance is required for this position
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: MA/MS (12+ years relevant experience may
substitute for degree)
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret / SCI
Compensation: Starting salary ranges from $125,000 to $145,000
depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
