We build digital solutions that impact the lives of mil We're looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. About the role: As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will support, design, maintain and monitor internal and external networks. Implement and manage all systems, applications, security and network configurations. Resolve network performance issues and establish a disaster recovery plan. Recommend upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to users. Rely on knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals. What we are looking for: Ten plus years of relevant hands-on experience Great at bash scripting, Python Strong experience with Linux operating systems (OS), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Strong experience with container and virtual applications (Docker, Ansible, VMware, Kubernetes) Experience with Cybersecurity tools (Suricata, zeek) Experience with Elastic, Logstash, Kibana (ELK) Able to resolve production performance, server, and application related issues to ensure the restoration of the environment Familiar with network devices Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, a Master's degree is a plus Obtain CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within the first 90 days of employment with Raft Highly preferred: CCNA, CCDE, and Security+ or other IAT Level I certification Understanding of the project lifecycle, and related processes Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Eagerness to learn and adapt to changing business requirements Clearance Requirements: Active Secret security clearance Work Type: Hybrid - Colorado Springs, CO May require up to 10% travel Salary Range: $110,000 - $180,000 The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities What we will offer you: Highly competitive salary Fully covered healthcare, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) and company match Take as you need PTO + 11 paid holidays Education & training benefits Annual budget for your tech/gadgets needs Remote, hybrid, and flexible work options Team off-site in fun places!
