We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued
customers as a System Administrator 3 to work out of Schriever Space Force
Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay: $115,000 - $120,000
Job Summary: Supports 392d CTS in the design and evaluation of systems to
meet functional specifications of new features. Generates concepts, designs
and provides support for implementation. Assists with the development of
objectives, requirements, CONOPS, and processes for the 392d CTS Battle
Lab environments.
Essential Duties:
Oversees the overall security, integrity, and operations of 392d CTS
Battle Lab systems and networks IAW AFI 17-101, AFI 17-130, AFI 17-203,
AFMAN 17-1301, AFMAN 17-1402, AFI 31-501and local policies and procedures
and provide support in connecting functional network requirements with other
ag
Operates networked and stand-alone systems at the unclassified, secret and
top secret-SCI classification levels.
Performs systems administration on platforms including SGI, SUN
Microsystems, personal computer (PC) and Mac systems, running multiple
operating systems such as Solaris, Linux, Windows 10, Windows 2016 or
later, VMware ESXi v6 or later.
Performs systems administration with the required versions of Microsoft
(MS) Active Directory (AD). Microsoft services will include IIS and
SharePoint web servers, MS SQL, MS Exchange, Windows Security Update
Services, and Group Policy administration for the accredited Battle Lab
network
Identifies, troubleshoots, and restores network, server, and client
systems as outages occur or as needed on a daily basis.
Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs
patches and resolves software conflicts. Performs application loading,
system hardening to include STIG implementation, troubleshooting, tuning
and technical support for hardware and software used within the 392d Battle
Lab environments.
Lifecycles and installs new physical and virtual servers as needed on a
reoccurring basis.
Operates backup software to ensure monthly and daily backups complete for data
protection.
Utilizes network-scanning tools to assess vulnerability status and mitigate
vulnerabilities on a monthly basis.
Generates concepts, designs and provides support for implementation. Assists
with the development of objectives, requirements, CONOPS, and processes
for all BattleLab environments.
Provides support in developing systems to exploit commercial off the shelf
(COTS), Government off the shelf (GOTS), and emerging technologies
to improve Unites States Space Force (USSF) capabilities to include
requirement analysis, solutions development, life-cycle maintenance, and
performance measurement.
Performs client support administrator duties as applicable.
Participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning,
analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases.
Performs tests, experiments, implementations, and system support of
components and capabilities.
Maintains confidentiality with regard to information being processed,
stored, or accessed.
Integrates data fusion architectures and leverage existing and other
all-source data in support warfighter applications and systems.
Develops and reviews communication system requirements.
Studies organizational structures, unit missions and requirements to gain a
better understanding of their impact on systems operation.
Develops and maintains operational, systems, and technical schematic
architecture drawings to include review of CSRD technical solutions and CSIRs
annually and maintain interface drawings between systems, connectivity
drawings of equipment to various LANs and configurations.

Required Qualifications:
5 years' experience in system engineering, administration, and management
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, additional
years of experience may be used in li u of education
IAT Level 2 certification required
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Required Clearance: Top Secret/ SCI
Travel: Not Required.
