Description We are in search of a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the banking industry. As a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk, you will be responsible for handling various banking operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize accounting software systems and banking software for transaction processing and record-keeping.
• Handle data processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in managing customer credit applications and update their records accordingly.
• Use LaserPro and Lawon ERP systems for various banking tasks.
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Handle inbound calls, addressing customer queries and concerns.
• Process checks and manage collection processes as per banking regulations.
• Assist with consumer loans and credit procedures.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards in all tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems usage is required.
• Familiarity with Banking software is essential.
• Must possess skills in Data Processing.
• Experience with LaserPro software is desired.
• Knowledge of Lawon ERP is a plus.
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls.
• Experience in Check Processing is needed.
• Understanding of Collection Processes is required.
• Must have knowledge of Consumer Loans.
• Credit processing skills are essential.
