Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Able to make simple to moderately complex mechanical repairs.
- Maintains simple to moderately complex tooling.
- Can set up and operate variety of simple to moderately complex machines within department.
- Understands simple to moderately complex gaging and can verify its accuracy through 2nd method along with recommending gaging methods to determine part accuracy.
- Conducts all activities in conjunction with supervision. Responsible for following safety and housekeeping policies.
Education/Experience Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Machine Tool Technology Degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years machinist or tool experience.
- Must be able to pass an assessment in office
