Terminix Service, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time.NET Developerto join our team in Columbia SC. The .NET Developer is involved in providing support to build and maintain applications. Note:Please note that this is a hybrid role and the person would be based within commuting distance of Columbia in order to attend meetings approx. 2 days per week.

Job Responsibilities

• Primarily build and maintain applications developed on a modern Microsoft stack with a DB2 backend.
• Writing and designing enterprise applications in .NET
• Work with a strong team in an Agile Methodology environment.
• Investigate and use new technologies as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ideal candidates have strong application development experience, great problem solving skills and a desire to join forces with a dynamic and fun enterprise with talented IT professionals like you!

• Ability to communicate (orally and written) effectively with technical, non-technical staff, and customers/stakeholders as needed or directed.
• Candidate must be able to communicate clearly with the development team, project staff, and the user community.
• Stable work history with experience in the full software life cycle.

Education and Experience:

• Applicants with relevant work experience will be considered; however, a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
• Five + years of development experience highly preferred
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF or Web API, REST or SOAP API web services and SQL
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with AJAX, Angular, jQuery or a similar library
• Knowledge of PDF/ Charting libraries,a plus
• Mobile experience, a plus.
