Clinical Research Coordinator Team Lead - Research Emergency Medicine Requisition ID 2024-48415 Category Research Overview The Emergency Medicine Clinical Research Coordinator Team Lead (EM Team Lead) has two primary responsibilities: 1) supervising the Emergency Medicine (EM) Research Team (consists of research assistants, coordinators, and interns) and 2) performing as a role model Research Coordinator. The EM Research Team is responsible for the implementation of all active research studies including, but not limited to: studies conducted in the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network, other federally funded projects, industry studies, internally funded and unfunded studies. The EM Team Lead is responsible for the oversight of EM Research personnel, study training, and ensuring all research is conducted according to federal, state, local and institutional guidelines, and regulations. The EM Team Lead will collaborate closely with the EM Associate Division Chief of Research, EM Research Director, EM Program Manager/ Great Lakes-Atlantic Emergency Children's Research Nodal Administrator, Study PIs and other EM Research Team Leads. Responsibilities PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities for the EM Research Team supervisor a. Provides guidance/support to research staff in coordinating all elements of research studies to ensure that they progress effectively and efficiently to meet the enrollment for the targets.b. Oversee the day-to-day operations and of projects and staff and act as liaison between the team and progress to research management c. Delegates duties to research staff as appropriated. Provides assistance to investigators with the design, development and feasibility of research proposals; working to write an effective proposal with all necessary components, review and make suggestions for revisione. Lead role in conducting team meetings and development of meeting follow-up plans, and implementation, tracking of personnel and total hiresf. Works with Emergency Medicine Research Leadership and Human Resources to help hire, train, and provide performance reviews for Research staff Responsibilities as a role model Research Coordinator a.
