Clinical Supervisor

Mentor Behavioral health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to a team of clinical professionals. Your role will involve ensuring the quality of patient care, supervising clinical activities, and promoting a positive work environment. This is a vital position within our organization that requires strong leadership and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and guidance to a team of clinical professionals

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical operations

  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care

  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans

  • Provide direct support and assistance to clinical staff as needed

  • Utilize coding and medical terminology knowledge to ensure accurate documentation

  • Implement behavior management strategies and techniques

  • Conduct psychotherapy sessions with patients as required

  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive change in patients

  • Apply principles of applied behavior analysis in clinical practice

  • Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to provide comprehensive care

    Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling)

  • LiSW, LPCC, or IMFT required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical supervisory role

  • Extensive knowledge of assessment techniques and treatment planning

  • Strong understanding of behavior management strategies

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and coding practices

  • Experience with motivational interviewing techniques

  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
