Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the definition of architecture requirements for all information systems, covering both functional and non-functional (i.e., performance, reliability, security) aspects.
Defines and documents the key architectural concepts, abstractions and the target system architecture, spanning application, information/data and technical infrastructure.
Selects strategic tools and platforms for development, testing and deployment.
Ensures the communication of principle technical drivers such as trends, best practice, setting and applying standards.
Defines technical objectives, goals, constraints, key features and overall architecture approach.
Mentors technical staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
7+ years of experience
Interpret business needs and translate into technical requirements
Apply proper enterprise patterns to solutions
· Communicate technical requirements to IT partners (by creating and reviewing solution diagrams)
· Be a trusted partner to both the business and IT
· Improve our Architecture Practice by creating target states, road maps, patterns, efficiencies, etc.
Leadership and interpersonal skills are essential (ex. teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation)
o Personal attributes focus on being a self-starter, collaborative, curious, strong work ethic, highly motivated, and team oriented
o Proactive solution orientation with a drive to overcome obstacles
o Experience developing IT and cloud solutions
o Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
o Experience in software engineering and design architecture
o Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
o Exposure to multiple technical environments
o Agile experience is preferred
o Banking experience is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
IT experience designing architectures and delivering information systems including data/information architecture, technical infrastructure, architecture and application architecture
