THE WORK:

  • You'll act as Resident Engineer overseeing the activities of Assistant Resident Engineers, Office Engineers, Lead Inspectors, Construction Inspectors, and Administrative/Project personnel.

  • You'll proactively engage with your team’s development through CPM, competency development/assessment, and feedback.

  • You'll monitor tool and equipment usage on the site and ensure crafts have the tools they need to be productive.

  • You'll prepare Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensure that the necessary materials are available.

  • You'll work with Construction Field Engineers to interpret engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical materials.

  • You'll monitor contractor work for compliance with the schedule, budget, technical specifications, contract drawings, and legal requirements.

  • You'll resolve design and field construction problems and expedite design and field changes as needed.

  • You'll review contractor requests for change and assist in preparing contract change orders, collaborating with the Construction Manager to develop and negotiate modifications.

  • You'll work with the Construction Safety Manager to implement safety rules, policies, and procedures for the team.

  • You'll coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage overall station schedules, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.

  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.

  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

$130,000 - $235,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred, or additional four (4) years of related experience

  • 8+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably within data center or mission-critical construction projects

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Ability to travel or relocate to project locations

  • Deep experience in construction leadership, with a focus on data centers or critical infrastructure preferred

  • Experience with developing workflows and tracking systems including change management, vendor equipment delivery, and document controls across 3 or more organizations/teams

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in construction management software and tools

  • Professional Engineering License

  • Experience with project management software tools such as Procore and document control

  • Experience with mechanical systems including air handlers, power distribution and building management systems

  • Experience with electrical systems including diesel generators, uninterruptible power systems, switchboards, transformers, and power distribution units. Experience with project management principles and best practices
