Our Opening and Your Responsibilities Mettler Toledo is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for its Worthington facility in Ohio. As a Manufacuring engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing processes such as line efficiencies, material flow, and lean principals. You will also be responsible to maintain our high-quality standards as well as cost efficiency. You will work closely with Line Associates, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely launch of new products and maintenance of line projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Optimize work center layouts, material flow and processes to improve productivity and eliminate waste Champion Lean Manufacturing culture on the shop floor Provide root cause analysis support to eliminate disturbances Improve product through-put by reducing overall lead time Work with production teams to drive KPI improvement Manage logistics of product launch and phase out activities Monitor and improve operational processes Provide daily work center tactical support Maintain knowledge of best in class processes for product configuration and assembly Direct and implement lean and green activities to support MT Lean Culture What You Need to Succeed EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field is preferred Associate's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 2 years of experience in a related field will be considered A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field or position is desired Lean Certification is preferred.
