The Sr. Manager, Business Operations for Store Operations will lead aspects of the stores master calendar and ensure stores messaging and priorities are linked and integrated with enterprise wide initiatives and priorities. They will work collaboratively with the Chief Stores Officer and the Field Leadership team to help plan and strategize on key messages that drive focus, and inspire engagement and loyalty. This role will partner with leaders and business partners to bring pivotal initiatives to life through the store meetings and messaging that supports the objective to make sales plan by delivering the safest, most inspiring customer experience in all of specialty retail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Leads oversight of the field touchpoint calendar, agendas and messaging – specifically, Store Manager + calls, regional leader meetings, national sales meetings, annual incentive programs and other field leader meetings.

– Partners closely with Stores and HR Engagement teams represent the voice of the associate, build brand dedication and create a phenomenal place to work for all stores associates.

– Leads and aligns on long-term critical messaging for stores.

– Partners with internal communications team to ensure consistency and relevancy from executive leaders to support regional and national touchpoints and national meetings.

– Leads developing and driving comprehensive communication plan that supports Chief stores office and leadership team for the field

– Supervises communication “gate-keeping” for the stores organization

– Actively participates in store visits, weekly business calls and other critical touchpoints to ensure clear and effective messaging

– Proven experience in developing an engaging associate first communications strategy.

– Ability to translate complex business requirements into internal communication strategies.

– Seamlessly build a clear & engaging relationship with team members.

– Develop strong coalitions and partnerships with other functions.

– Defines and communicates processes for improving business planning, cross-functional communication, work integration, and collaboration between partners from cross-functional departments.

– Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading and developing a team of cross-functional professionals.

– Recommends communication budgets and timelines.
