As the Senior Technical Product Manager, Healthcare , you will join a team of professionals with a true passion for improving the lives of patients through innovative software solutions. Through our UpToDate Patient Engagement Solutions, we look to engage and educate patients with the leading end-to-end technology suite for measurable outcomes and sustained partnership across the care journey. Your main responsibility is to manage and execute the roadmap for our Patient and Member interfaces. You will also lead in the development of new products and enhancements through your own research, the voice of the customer (VOC), and sales input scoped and prioritized from our Business Product Manager.

You will report to the Lead Technology Product Manager and work from your remote home office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and drive the vision for our Patient interface tools through a comprehensive understanding of requirements acquired from customer success, engineering, innovation, and external product sources.

  • Become the company expert on workflows, features, functionality, and requirements related to the related platforms and operational processes.

  • Independently assemble platform requirements from multiple sources and communicate requirements to product development to achieve rapid deployment and adoption of the software.

  • Develop business cases, product concept documents, engineerable specifications, and story backlogs to drive the development of Editorial and Design platform features.

  • Support Product Marketing, Customer Success and Implementation teams to launch products through each phase of the product life cycle (early adopter, limited market release, general availability).

  • Supported by senior leadership, prioritize competing projects to create an appropriately ordered and streamlined workflow for Editorial and Design teams.

  • Product evangelist for UpToDate Engagement tools and products.

  • Provide peer leadership and mentoring.

  • Develop and deliver client facing presentations, lead early adopter client onboarding, develop product launch plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, medical or engineering field, supported by education, training, and/or certification in agile product management. Master’s degree is a plus.

Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of consistent experience as a Product Manager for software projects and/or software teams, preferably with healthcare related products.

  • 5+ years' experience in the healthcare field. Prefer some clinic experience.

  • Experience with user interfaces, web content development preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with high and low level non-technical stakeholders and clients as well as technical development teams.

  • Deep experience with Product Ownership in an Agile environment, including development of story backlogs and product concept documentation.

  • Strong prioritization, organization, and communication skills

  • Ability to form relationships across functional areas including content, engineering and technology, product management, product marketing, sales, service, and operations.

  • Analysis, modeling, and knowledge representation.

  • Experience with clinical informatics and electronic workflows in the health IT domain.

  • Experienced with the roles, responsibilities, and practices of Agile scrum teams.
