CAS is currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Technology Sourcing for our Technology Team. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Position Summary: As the Technology Sourcing Leader, you will drive strategic vendor partnerships that deliver exceptional value to the organization while effectively managing risk, ensuring reliability, and optimizing costs. Your expertise in vendor management and procurement will be crucial in building a resilient and efficient technology organization. Job Duties: Develop and execute a comprehensive vendor management strategy that aligns with organizational objectives, focusing on risk mitigation, service reliability, and cost optimization. Continuously monitor and assess vendor performance to ensure alignment with service level agreements and business requirements. Spearhead the automation and standardization of procurement processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders within the organization to ensure seamless alignment and effective communication throughout the procurement lifecycle. Centralize procurement functions to leverage economies of scale, increase value to internal customers, and drive operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and strategic sourcing to optimize the organization's technology spend. Create compelling reports, presentations, and dashboards that provide actionable insights into potential opportunities and results. Utilize data visualization techniques to simplify complex analytics and effectively communicate findings to executive leadership and key stakeholders, driving informed decision-making at all levels. Proactively identify trends, improvement opportunities, and conduct thorough risk assessments to deliver tangible benefits to the organization. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the organization's vendor management and procurement strategies. Serve as a champion for the Voice of the Customer on cross-divisional programs and teams. Leverage strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to navigate complex analyses and contract negotiations, ensuring comprehensive insights and benefits for the organization. Foster collaborative relationships with vendors and leaders across the technology landscape to deliver cost savings, mitigate risks, and accelerate time-to-value. Build strategic partnerships that drive innovation and support the organization's long-term technology roadmap. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 7+ years of experience developing and leading processes including sourcing, procurement, negotiations, and voice of the customer. Proven track record of successfully leading vendor management and procurement initiatives in a complex technology environment. Deep understanding of vendor management best practices, contract negotiation, and risk management frameworks.
