Position Summary: Responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects including; scope, schedule and budget. U.S. Residency Required. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Monitors schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements and prepares invoices. Develop Project Management Plans for assigned projects Perform design computations Establish project pricing and budgets Create and maintain project schedules Develop and maintain project specific quality plans Develop and coordinate project scope Manage subconsultants Participate in client presentations Oversee and manage assigned staff working on project Manage all technical resources on the project team Development of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned Work in a team environment as well as individually Required Experience Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering program Ohio Professional Engineer License 10+ years' experience in structures or bridge discipline Proficient in typical office software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and ODOT standards Preferred Experience CAPM or PMP Master's degree in civil engineering Bridge Level 1 certification Open Bridge Modeler exposure Experience in structural analysis software (e.g. CSiBridge, Midas, etc.) Experience working with local clients at the county and state level Project management and business development experience Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3 Experience managing multidiscipline project teams Bridge inspector certification Working Conditions JMT recognizes our employees face many factors when it comes to selecting the best work location, and we are passionate about providing options and flexibility.
