Job Title: Survey CAD TechnicianJob Description
Seeking a Survey CAD Technician to support a growing civil engineering firm. The Technician will work with survey field crews to create CAD drawings and maps in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Surveys include topo, boundary, ALTA, as-built, construction staking, utility, and more. Projects include state and local, commercial, industrial, K-12, retail, parks, roadway, and more. You will be working with an experienced team that can help train and grow your career.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with survey managers and project teams to understand project specifications and scope.
Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other software to create 2D and/or 3D designs for land surveying projects.
Prepare topographic, ALTA, boundary, and other types of survey mapping drawings.
Work with field crews to accurately draft survey data.
Create layouts for land surveys, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
Prepare easement descriptions and exhibits.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Experience with survey CAD, preferably from other civil engineering disciplines.
Ability to take training and implement it into day-to-day responsibilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in civil engineering or CAD is preferred.

You will be working 100% in office. You will receive 1-on-1 training with licensed engineers who are invested in growing your career and skills. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
