Description
DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc. DeBra-Kuempel combines the expertise of two of the tri-state’s oldest and most innovative companies, providing mechanical and electrical services to Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Evansville, Lexington, Louisville, and the surrounding areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Repair and replace wiring.
Read blueprints and schematics.
Document repairs and modifications.
Manage small work crews while working with the tools.
Manage and mentor apprentice electricians.
Work with architects, contractors, and clients.
Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
Field installation of conduit systems to include: GRC, EMT, and IMC conduits.
Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
Stay apprised of revisions of National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To best meet the needs of our organization and customers, the right person will meet the following qualifications:
Ability to run conduit.
Communication skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
Knowledge of National Electric Code, state, and local building codes.
Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
