The State of New Hampshire, Insurance Department has a full-time vacancy for Deputy Enforcement Counsel.
SUMMARY: Provides interpretation and enforcement of New Hampshire insurance statutes and administrative rules including, but not necessarily limited to, personal and commercial insurance lines. Drafts statutes and administrative rules as needed. Represents Insurance Department in regulatory and enforcement actions against entities and individuals regulated by the Insurance Department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association recognized law school. Experience:Five years' experience in the active practice of law.Preference will be given to candidates with a trial and/or administrative hearings background. Special Qualifications:Must be an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and in Good Standing. License/Certification:Valid drivers license and/or access to transportation for statewide travel.
