Aerotek Auto Mechanic in Conway, Arkansas

Job Title: Auto Mechanic

Job Description

As an Auto Mechanic, you will primarily diagnose vehicles for auction to assist in determining their value. You will be responsible for reviewing a daily list of vehicles, diagnosing issues, and creating a list of necessary repairs to get the vehicles running optimally. Your work will consist of 80% diagnostics and 20% actual vehicle repairs.

Hard Skills

  • Vehicle Diagnostics

  • Repair Skills for brakes, speed sensors, O2 sensors, catalytic converters, fuel systems, timing belts, oil changes, wheel sensors, tires, compression tests, and light replacements

Soft Skills

  • Adaptability to work in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to work cooperatively in a small team

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Conway, Arkansas.

Work Environment

The role requires working outside 75% of the time, so you must be comfortable with working in various weather conditions. You need to provide your own tools, although assistance is available for purchasing missing tools. Specialty tools will be supplied. The environment is very friendly with a small crew of six people who enjoy a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
