What does a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Do? Aside from it being a
fun job helping people.... Star of Hope provides varying levels of
support throughout our 18 programs in Coos and Curry Counties. We have
Programs with openings in Coos Bay, North Bend, Gold Beach, and
Brookings. In many of our programs our people live very independently
and a typical day for a DSP could be taking the group fishing or other
fulfilling activities. Yes, we pay you to go fishing! In other homes the
supports require medical related care, while still helping individuals
live fulfilling lives with opportunities for fun and growth. There are
many seats on our bus and we\'re good at finding one that can fit for
employees of all experience levels! We also have extensive training to
help our employees learn the necessary skills to build a successful
career with us. SCHEDULE: Full Time Available, 40 hours per week -
various schedules available and always hiring for On-Call (substitute)
DSPs. REQUIREMENTS: Pay Scale is \$18.00 to \$25.15 (progressive step
