The Role

As a Counter Manager, you will be responsible for all areas in the business. From achieving sales’ targets to running operations in store, you will as well lead and develop a team of sales assistants and create memorable shopping key moments to all customers!

You will be reporting to the Le Labo Sales & Education Lead.

The position is a full time position in Illum, Copenhagen. The potential start date will be as soon as possible.

More specifically, you will work with

  1. Store Operations – With great operations come great results.

  2. Maintain and set an example of outstanding customer service in a positive and inspiring atmosphere.

  3. Track of sales, monitor KPI’s and communication of business results.

  4. Follow the business trends and create action plans to generate incremental sales.

  5. Maintain and monitor inventory levels.

  6. Create and plan event strategies for the fiscal year in accordance with the product and collection launches and key shopping moments.

  7. Optimize the store’s schedule according to peak hours.

  8. Maintain excellent visual merchandizing and hygiene standards at all times.

  9. People Management – Our colleagues are the heart of the store.

  10. Be responsible for the full cycle of recruitment.

  11. Support and develop the team in selling techniques and product knowledge to ensure that teams consistently welcome, inspire and personalize each experience.

  12. Continually conduct performance discussions and provide constant feedback to ensure positive results.

  13. Proactively manage poor performance, addressing attendance or conduct issues in line with Le Labo expectations, utilizing the appropriate procedures and support.

  14. Build a good work environment ensuring that the employees are thriving and take action in case of conflicts.

Qualifications

You are the perfect fit if you:

  • Have a minimum of high school diploma or have a certificate from a make-up school.

  • Have 3 years of working experience in retail sales preferably within the beauty sector, with management experience.

  • Are passionate about art, design, fragrannce and craftmanship

  • Are business-minded and aligned with KPI's set by the company.

  • Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and for delivering exceptional customer experience.

  • Have strong multitasking skills

  • Have excellent communication, organisation, delegation and time management skills.

  • Are proficient in a Nordic language and in English both in speaking and in writing.

  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel and Word and have experience with POS systems.

  • Are able to work retail hours including days, nights, week-ends and during special events.

  • Are familiar with Social Media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
